A Holiday Cocktail to Impress

A Holiday Cocktail to Impress

Hosting season is upon us which means many are gearing their kitchens up for long evenings and hosting close family and friends. While often referred to as the most joyful time of the year, many can find it to be overwhelming with preparation. Whether hosting a casual get together or a formal holiday dinner, we've removed the stress of serving up the perfect holiday cocktail. Not only will your guests be pouring a second glass, it's presentation is elegant and one that even Oprah approves of. The Bourbon Pear Spritz is beautifully garnished with a sliced pear, sprig of sage, and served on Oprah's Favorite Board of the holiday season, the COCOCOZY Square Link Serving Board, Large

Prepare the cocktail by combining all ingredients in a recycled Glass Carafe for a stunning pour. Seamlessly serve prepared cocktails alongside pear crudités on the COCOCOZY Square Link Serving Board, Large for an elegant presentation. From holiday cocktails to food presentation, this dual-purpose board featured in Oprah's Favorite Things 2021 will become the staple of your holiday entertaining.

Ingredients (for 1 drink):

  • 1.5 oz bourbon
  • 2 oz fresh pear juice
  • 2 oz all natural ginger seltzer
  • 1.5 tbsp simple syrup
  • 1 tsp finely minced ginger
  • 2 sage leaves

Directions:

  1. In a small glass or bowl, combine simple syrup with minced ginger. Let sit for 10 minutes for the flavors to absorb.
  2. Fill a Glass Carafe with the bourbon, pear juice, ginger seltzer and sage leaves.
  3. Strain the ginger out of the simple syrup and pour the syrup into the Carafe. Mix with a spoon or hold the metal stopper of the Carafe and shake gently.
  4. Fill a glass with ice and pour in the Bourbon Pear Spritz from the Carafe.
  5. Use any remaining pear slices and sage as a garnish. Enjoy!
