Serving Boards
etúHOME’s serving boards are handcrafted from sustainably sourced European Pine wood and designed for serving only — not for cutting or chopping. Each piece is finished with a plant-based, food-safe hard wax that nourishes the wood, eliminates odors, and creates a protective barrier for quick and easy cleaning.
To preserve the integrity and longevity of your board, we recommend using a barrier such as parchment paper, a plate, or a bowl for non-dry or hot ingredients.
Care Instructions:
After each use, wipe the surface clean with hot, soapy water and dry thoroughly with a clean dish towel. Do not submerge your board in water or use abrasive cleaning products. Brightly colored foods such as berries, turmeric, and mustard may stain lighter finishes. For stubborn stains, visit our website for eco-friendly cleaning solutions.
Cutting Boards
Our cutting boards are made from durable acacia wood, known for its strength and natural resistance to water.
Care Instructions:
After each use, wipe clean with hot, soapy water and dry thoroughly. Never soak or submerge your board in water and avoid harsh cleaning agents.
For natural stain removal, dampen the board with warm water, sprinkle coarse salt or baking soda, and rub with half a lemon to release the juice. Let sit for 5 minutes, then scrub gently and rinse clean.
To maintain your board’s beauty, nourish it regularly, especially after washing or in dry climates, with etúHOME’s Rosemary and Sage Board Wax.
Glass
Our glass accents are artisan-crafted and mouth-blown into cast iron molds or pressed into custom designed cast iron molds, resulting in beautiful variations such as small bubbles or subtle waves that make each piece unique. Hand wash all glass with care or wipe with a soft, damp cloth.
For embellished, sprayed or painted glass, avoid liquid cleansers, soap, or any abrasive agents containing alcohol. Simply wipe clean with a damp cloth. To preserve painted finishes, do not soak or leave pieces standing in water. Do not put in dishwasher.
Ceramics
Each piece in our ceramics collection is handcrafted from white European clay, requiring approximately 35 hours of work from start to finish. Our hand-thrown pottery and bakeware are double-fired in precision-controlled kilns. The fine network of lines known as crazing is intentional, enhancing the unique, artisanal character of each piece.
etúHOME ceramics are oven, dishwasher, and microwave safe.
Scented Candles
etúHOME candles feature essential oils from Grasse, France, hand-blended with a refined mix of mineral and vegetal waxes.
Before lighting, trim the wick to ¼ inch to ensure an even, slower burn. The first time you light the candle, allow the entire surface to liquefy to promote an even melt. Avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time, and always re-center the wick after extinguishing.
